Give Thanks!
Hello Springs Family and Friends,
One of my favorite holidays is Thanksgiving. For many years, I have taken the whole month of November not just to celebrate thanksgiving on one day but rather give thanks throughout the whole month. This year, after all we have been through as a church; transitions, covid, political tension, and everyday struggles I want to invite you to join me. We want this holiday season to be different, intentional, and in unity. As we make our way through November giving thanks together, we will gather with our families in celebrations on Thanksgiving. Then following Sunday, after Thanksgiving, we will begin Advent leading into the Christmas season. We will provide readings, advent candle lighting, and Christ-centered worship as we journey through the Christmas season together as a church body and celebrate all that Christ has done ending in a special Christmas Eve Eve service on December 23rd.
We will keep you updated and hopefully help you and your family focus on the goodness of God and the beauty of Jesus' birth this holiday season.
You can download this 'give thanks' pdf (below) and begin capturing the graces and goodness of God starting November 1st or you can pick up a paper copy at the church starting this Sunday Oct. 31st.
