Join us for Warrior Weekend, a time for men be encouraged, challenged and inspired to take hold of the Warrior's Cause.
This weekend will have times of worship and practical teaching, opportunities for engaging community, & spaces to relax and have fun!

2025 THEME: FIX IT!

We live in a world where, as men, we are constantly required to FIX IT. Whether it's an issue at work, our cars, some plumbing or electrical issue in our house, or even a broken toy that requires another glob of gorilla glue--our lives as men constantly revolve around the role of "fixer". So much so, that we may find little-to-no time to "fix" our spiritual lives. And if we do have the time, where do we even begin?
Hebrews 12 gives us a great starting point to address our own "Fix It" need. In verse 2 the author writes, “FIXing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.” At this year's Warrior Weekend, we will examine the tools it takes to FIX IT spiritually, and keep IT tuned up with continually pursuing the life God has invited us into, and has equipped us to live out.

2025 SPEAKER: Pastor Chad Halverson

Chad Halverson currently works as the Agronomy Billing Supervisor for Agriland FS, Inc.--which obviously makes him the prime candidate to speak at the 2025 Warrior Weekend! Growing up in the Midwest, he attended Life Pacific University and has been a licensed Foursquare Pastor since 1996. He is married to his beautiful wife, Kerri, of 23 years and has four (mostly) amazing kids.
Over the past 30 years, Chad has held nearly every position in the local church context, most of which have been as paid pastoral staff. He is currently appointed to the Winterset Foursquare Church (Winterset, IA), and serves as an assisting minister. This new bi-vocational chapter in his life has been a challenge, and a great reminder of God’s desired presence in the secular, everyday, mundane Monday through Friday weekly life. Jesus works not just in the lives of pastors and church leaders, but also in your life and his life (even as a billing supervisor!), and God chooses to use us all to influence the spaces and places we find ourselves in. Chad looks forward to spending some time with our Iowa Warriors this September!
