Iron doesn't sharpen itself, and you shouldn't try to either.

How does it feel to know someone's in your corner; supporting, coaching, sharpening and cheering you on? Now imagine if entire generations could experience support like this. Using models of generational relationships in scripture, we’ll learn what can happen when we develop relationships that shape, share insight, and speak into our souls.

1. In what ways do your closest friends “dull” your discipleship journey? What needs to change in the pursuit of being sharpened instead?

2. How have you been invited to be a “sharp” friend for someone else? What actions can you take this week to sharpen others?
