Note of Encouragement

"Then Sings My Soul"
Oh Lord, my God
When I, in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed

When I think of this verse “How Great Thou Art”, it reminds me about how I feel when I’m in nature. I see all the colors, textures of the grass, smooth stones, the soft petals of the flowers. Then I hear the rustling of the leaves, birds chirping, all the buzzing, babbling of the water flowing over rocks in the streams. I can walk for hours in that environment. My soul aches for moments like this, to be surrounded in nature's beauty, in his presence. My soul is fed in this space. I feel new, refreshed, rested after spending a day with the Lord in awe of His creation. These are moments I long for. Think about what things your soul longs for.

Psalms 84:2-4 HCSB
2 I long and yearn for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh cry out for the living God.
3 Even a sparrow finds a home, and a swallow, a nest for herself where she places her young near Your altars, Lord of Hosts, my King and my God.
4 How happy are those who reside in Your house, who praise You continually.

What makes your soul sing? What things can spark your soul to sing? I want to encourage you to sit and think of the last time you felt like your soul was at peace, rest, and wanted to sing? How can you make space for your soul to connect to the Father? How can you ask the people in your life to help you make space for you to connect with the Father? I encourage you to journal your experience.

Wing Club

Description New Men's Monthly Community Group at a local wings restaurant. Only Three Rules for Wing Club:
1. You must talk about Wing Club (invite someone)
2. No Politics (sports are allowed)
3. We will end with prayer

Prayer Requests

Prayer Matters!
Ephesians 6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

BABY HAMILTON is supposed to come home this weekend. Pray all goes well and the transition for him is smooth.
Pray that our church family jobs, homes, and finances are blessed with the provision and grace of God.
